Splenocyte

Within the immune system, a splenocyte is a monocyte, one of the five major types of white blood cell, and is characteristically found in the splenic tissue.
A splenocyte can be any one of the different white blood cell types as long as it is situated in the spleen or purified from splenic tissue.
