Splash page

A splash page can be:
- A splash screen on a website.
Splash pages are an introductory page to your web site before you go to the main content. Usually has identity logo, graphic design elements, options of how to enter the site ( connection speed / flash / html ), technical requirements ( browser version, flash player version... etc.)
- A comic book page that is mostly or entirely taken up by a single image or panel; see Comics vocabulary#Splash page for more information.
