[edit] Done!
So glad we got there in the end, thanks so much for your cooperation. Glen 05:58, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Filmography
Thanks for asking! You know what? I dont think so. 1) Its highly unlikely your MySpace profile states (c)Copyright...etc.., and, even if it does, because they are just lists it would be hard to see any copyright violations (it could've been compiled by an editor themselves, grabbed of IMDB etc)
So no, go for it! Glen 06:50, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Thanks
Yeah, don't worry about it. Frankly, I was willing to reason with her until I read about her stalking Sid on IMDB. Now its 100% obvious its just a personal vendetta.

- Hey Meph, it's MS! =) Haven't seen you in some time! Of course, she went and deleted her posts because she knew I caught her, and now has this claim started against me here [1]. It's crazy, and I really have better things to do. I have no idea why she has this personal thing against Sid for making a tiny mistake that NO ONE EVEN NOTICED BUT HER!!!! Did anyone anywhere ever talk about it but her? Nope. Was it all over the horror news sites? Nope! So what's the big deal that she has to do all this? Some folks have a strange idea of entertainment...she's been doing this since 11/4/06.

[edit] Hmmm
I've warned the user. Let me know if this continues as a block is warranted if it does. Sorry about it all :( Glen 06:13, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rcarey1979
I've warned this user here telling them that I will no longer tolerate their additions to Sid's article and one more will result in a block. They replied stating they will leave the page alone. So, I'd say this is over Glen 08:52, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Returned post to reply
You posted the following on my talk page with regard to Wikipedia:External links#Links normally to be avoided:
- "That's actually something I was wondering about. I get the reason for it, but would it not be prudent to provide a source to back up any claims made here? Since things here have to be sourced, I've gotten in that mode of thinking (say nothing without proof to back it up), and thus provided said links. Would it count as sourcing, or it would it still fall into the "no-no" catagory? Figured I'd ask. New knowledge never hurts. =) Spirot 06:41, 7 March 2007 (UTC)"

- Perhaps it's best simply to avoid making claims. Try the Village Pump, commended to you in the Welcome message which another Wikipedian posted at the top of this page last November. — Athænara ✉ 13:05, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

All bio articles are required to have it. Its a good thing, it warns people that unsourced negative material cannot be added (it does not normally pertain to the current version). Trust me, having it there is a good idea for all future editors to know Glen 04:25, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- The + and - amounts indicate the number of characters added or removed from a page (eg +4 means 4 letters added, -4 removed) Glen 05:33, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

I checked the page and it seems that Spaulding's page has been linked properly whenever he's mentioned.

- As for the forum, with occasional exceptions, I don't really use forums that much anymore. If I can I'll register an account an but I might just pop in once or twice to see whats going on and chime in.--CyberGhostface 20:47, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sid Haig
Apologies. The source was not apparent on its face. It was very clear that it did not originate from Wikipedia. Also, its tone is not that of an encyclopedia article. Quatloo 03:27, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Earlier you wrote: > I have no idea what you're talking about. The link works just fine,

- I removed the notice based on Glen S's review back in November and the text on the new site. Technically, I think the notice on the site might need to say something like 'Licensed to Wikipedia under the GNU free document license (GFDL)' - but it is clear that the intent is to allow the use so we can hold off on any pending deletion while the required wording gets sorted out. --CBD 22:21, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

- No such thing happened. I engaged only in civil discussion and was not issued any "warnings." My beef has always been with the poor quality of the article and the fact that it is a non-encyclopaedic hagiography. The article is poor because it came from the Official Website. - Does it match the one on the website exactly? No. Does it match the one on IMDB exactly? No. Know why? Because, WITH THE HELP OF A WIKI ADMINISTRATOR, I edited it to be NPOV, and then Wiki gave it a class B rating. Obviously, you and Wiki do not share the same opinion of that page, as you have been told. Two admins now have reviewed this claim and dismissed it. Do you honestly need a third time??? [edit] Are you connected with Sid Haig?
How come you've never edited any other Wikipedia articles except this one? There's an ongoing discussion here. Please let us know so we don't have to guess. Jehochman ☎ / ✔ 22:07, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. However, please know that editors do not own articles and should respect the work of their fellow contributors on Sid Haig. If you create or edit an article, know that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - That's nice, thanks. If the "work of my fellow contributors" was not RAMPANT DELETION, I might be inclined to agree.

[edit] Conflict of interest

No, actually, that would be a claim of letting people know if anything posted is inaccurate. And as a matter of fact, I do own the bio, hence the need for GFDL licensing - what of it? Under the GFDL it can be edited by any of us. Just like I just did. I think the point everyone missed somehow is that MASS DELETION is not the way to fix an article. EDITING is. Had anyone actually tried to copyedit the article, this all could have been avoided. However, they chose differently. (Except for one editor, and I do appreciate their effort) Spirot 01:36, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
