[edit] hello

and please refrain from edit-warring. If you read our Mahabharata article, you will learn that the 3100 BC date is a calculation from a 5th century text, not a historical date. And that the Mahabharata is a text, not an event. Please edit with more circumspection. Be also advised that you are now in violation of WP:3RR and may be blocked from editing if you continue reverting. dab () 16:50, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

I must concur. Read the Mahabharata article and you'll see exactly what I said: international scholarship does not believe it can be dated and prefers to admire it for its literary qualities, not for any historical accuracy within. Furthermore, the Mahabharata wasn't even set down until relatively late antiquity, and Hittite texts predate it by many centuries, so it's no uniquely ancient source. You have been blocked under WP:3RR for edit-warring at Sanskrit for 24 hours. Pls refrain from excessive reverting on your return. Thanks, Blnguyen | BLabberiNg 01:39, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
