[edit] Spinel Sun's Abillites

Spinner is able to shoot beams of energy from his mouth, just as Kero can shoot fire from his. But on the episode "Spinning Out of Control" Spinner shoots these beems while in his mini form. So how come kero never breathes fire in his cute little cuddly form. After writing this I have relised this question is more about Kero than Spinner, I apoligise! :Bubble bunny 15:39, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

Kero probably could, but he has more control not to. He is able to sprinkle magic glitter over a festival in episode 35 (that Christmas festival episode with The Firey), though. But I don't think these can really be notably added to the article, since we don't know 100% sure if Kero could do it or not. --Crisu 15:56, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The theme of darkness

I realized that both rubies and spinels (minerals) are formed underground. If you'll recall, Eriol uses the power of darkness (remember for example the old chant Sakura had to do season 1-2, about the key hiding the power in the darkness? Not sure if that means that Clow Reed drew his power from the darkness too.) In any case, this would be appropriate since the sun and moon (Kero and Yue) both radiate light, while ruby and minerals are formed under pressure underground in darkness.... I'm trying to reach a deeper conclusion but the manga/anime don't exactly elaborate on the powers of Eriol's new (deliberately mysterious) guardians, huh?  :) --Charizardpal 00:30, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
