- I'm afraid you are quite wrong. "General anaesthesia" does indeed require loss of consciousness, but local and regional anaesthesia do not. The correct title for this article should be Spinal anaesthesia. Preacherdoc (talk) 18:49, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
