The Japanese EP "New Mistake" is not referred to by name, any more details? In particular, at least the four songs on CD1 of the EP are all songs from Spilt Milk, and two are listed as "demos". Are the other two the album version, or a remix or what? And do the demos have the same musicians (particularly Lyle Workman) as the Spilt Milk versions?

After listening to River Man and Russian Hill, I don't hear a blatant similarity. They are similar in structures, feeling, and instrumentation to some extent, but the chord changes are pretty different, and River Man is in 5. Jamon.ben
