The currently orphaned Wooly spider monkey should, I presume, be linked in the article somewhere? -- Infrogmation 00:48, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Orphaned? I think not. It's conencted through its parent taxa. Oh! I see... someone created a new article with a typo'd title. I see it's all been fixed and merged into the proper place, although the article still needs work. - UtherSRG 02:33, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)

IRtyan doesn't believe me cause he is a small dicked bastard"tailprint" from the hairless section, which is as individual as a human fingerprint? Trekphiler 21:13, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Spider monkey intelligence

In the Times of London there is an article on the latest research by Harvard on animal intelligence, saying that spider monkeys are the third most intelligent primate after orangutans and chimpanzees. I would like to request to add this to the page. Chimps knocked off the top of the IQ tree, The Times Mister India 17:28, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Nobody said anything – that means it's OK! Said: Rursus 14:31, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
Done, but the reference isn't the best I've seen – it erroneously dropped the position of Gorilla, which is just a little lower than that of Ateles. Said: Rursus 14:43, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lip(s) or clits?

"An unusually long labia in females may be mistaken for a penis; its function is unclear."
See Loys's Ape where it is claimed it's the clitoris. In any case, I doubt it's a labia, rather than the labiae. See also talk page there for a source to settle this issue. Dysmorodrepanis 02:02, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
