Spirent Communications plc (LSE: SPT, NYSESPM) is a British telecommunications company based in Crawley, West Sussex. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

Spirent grew rapidly during the dot-com boom of the 1990s, and was a member of the FTSE 100 index from time to time. Spirent is now a leading communications testing company focused on delivering innovative systems and services to meet the needs of customers worldwide. Its activities are organised into two operating groups: Communications and Systems.

Spirent mainly consists of the former DLS Testworks (of Ottawa, Canada), Netcom Systems (of Calabasas, CA), Adtech (of Honolulu, HI), Caw Networks (of Sunnyvale, CA), Hekimian (of Rockville, MD) and Telecom Analysis Systems (of Eatontown, NJ), and a number of other small network test equipment providers that it has acquired such as Imperfect Networks (of Burlington, MA)
