Spiral bound

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spiral-Bound is an active online mailing list and newsletter devoted to the discussion of 20th century authors that explored the limits of traditional narrative and structure, often coming from modernism, surrealism, magical realism, and postmodernism. Authors such as Jorge Luis Borges, Philip K. Dick, and Umberto Eco are frequently discussed.

Spiral-Bound began in 2000, and still runs strong today as a very literate and high signal-to-noise mailing list. It is the email arm of the The Modern Word website.
