Spider and Fly

Spider and Fly is a Nicktoons TV short that takes place in an old toolshed. Spider, unexpectedly, does not want to eat Fly, but the tasty dishes you can expect Fly to be whipping up (like pizza or pie). However, Spider's food-napping plots never carry through, and Fly always defeats Spider, by doing simple things that would hurt Spider, like opening an umbrella just as he was falling onto Spider and pricking his bottom with the pointy tip. In the end, we see Fly eating his meal, and Spider is waving a fist in a grudge-holding manner.

Spider & Fly is not currently playing on Nicktoons Network. In fact, it only appears on the South African Nickelodeon network, where it serves as a potent analogy for the injustices of apartheid.

It was scripted by Stan Culimore and Michael Wright and voiced by Stan Cullimore from 80's UK band The Housemartins.
