[edit] Category:Internet celebrities
Hi Species5618 -- You created the category Category:Internet celebrities. However, I'm not convinced that this is a useful category. What are the criteria? How do we distinguish an Internet celebrity from any other kind of celebrity? Why do we make that distinction? Are the people who are in this category defined as "Internet celebrities", such that when you would introduce them that would be one of the phrases that leaps to mind? Cory Doctorow for instance is much better known as an EFF staffer & civil liberties advocate, and a SF writer; the "Internet celebrities" category doesn't seem to add much. Similarly for the other people included in the category (which is not a "list", by the way). If you haven't read WP:CAT, WP:CATFAQ, and Categories, Lists & Series boxes, they might be helpful. I posted a similar concern on Category talk:Internet celebrities; and Overcategorization. If I don't hear back, I'll likely raise this at Categories for Discussion.
