[edit] RFA

I reccomend you withdraw your recent request for adminship. There is pratcially no chance of it achieving a consensus to promote. If you are really serious about RFA, and not trying to use it as a way to get around vandalism, I am sure somebody will be glad to adopt you and help you gain the requried experience. While an edit count is not the absolute judge of an editor, 100 edits is extremely low. For example, I had over 10,000 for my first RFA and still failed. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 18:40, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

I agree with Chrislk02. Please withdraw per WP:SNOW. Do not, however, be discouraged. If you edit in good faith then I am always happy to lend a hand or give advice, as indeed are many other (more experiened) editors. Best. Pedro |  Chat  19:31, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
I'm sorry to say but I've closed your RfA early due to the fact you have only 100 edits and little experience and per WP:SNOW. Please dont be discouraged as you are a great contributor just you're not yet ready for the administrator tools. Happy editing! — Rlest (formerly Qst) 19:40, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Also, in the kindest possible way I suggest not saying things like "I'm very smart" as some people (frankly including myself :-)) see it as very self centred and arrogant. Kindest Regards; — Rlest (formerly Qst) 19:51, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Yes, in retrospec, it does seem very conceded, but I could think of no other wy to describe my intelligence. As for -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider), I am offended that you would assume that I was using adminship to get around vandalism..Sure I had on tiny vandalism edit, but we ar all human, I gave into temptation, but this in no way means I would abuse power. But I forgive you, and your other points are true, therefore I only have three questions:

1. Should I just create a new account? This seems bad enough on record and it makes me look very stupid (Along with the small vandalism), so I'd probably have a better chance with a clean plate.

2, How many edits will it take for me to be considered for adminship?

3. Suppose I keep this account and want to acheive said edits, how long will it take? SpecialAgentUncleTito 20:28, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

First off, understand it is not about total number of edits. While lack of edits generally shows a lack of expereince, a plethora does not show the same amount of experience. For example, I can make 1000 recerts to the same article with adding no content. It is more about areas of experience such as AFD, WP talk space, notice board involvement etc. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 20:32, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
