is the current guitarist of Goodbye October, which is a New York-based Grunge Revival band.

Jackson was born in 1991 to a daughter of wealthy Scottish immigrants and a father of Scottish “WASP” ancestry. He is a devout Baptist. He was born in San Antonio and grew up in San Marcos, TX until age eight, when he moved to New York City with his parents. He is currently a high school junior. He was introduced to the guitar at age 9 when a friend talked him into it. After receiving a guitar as a birthday present, he wrote "Can't Live Anymore", which has always been his most popular song. During his sophomore year in high school, Jackson started the Grunge revival band Five Times Square (5 X Square) with singer/professional voice worker Daniel Halasz and drummer Andy Santana.The first 5xSquare concert was at the Calicoon Creek Park in Calicoon, NY on July 8th, 2007. In November of 2007, the band changed their name to Goodbye October. "It's hella catchy", says Santana, who is a native of New Haven. Jackson plays guitar and is the background vocalist. Their new song is titled "Resist" and is considered youtube gold.
