I’m looking for an elementary reference for the slope definition(s). Help appreciated! Got a dozen articles on colours and spectral characteristics of TNO and Centaurs but they are unnecessarily technical for this stub. The definition of relative slope seems to come from Meech & Jewitt 86 ^[1] (at least this is the oldest I got) but it is given in the context of little relevance to this more general article.
