Spelsbury (pronounced /ˈspɛlzb(ə)ri/, locally [ˈspɛw-]) is a small north-west Oxfordshire (England) village about one mile from Charlbury on a narrow hill between the Coldron and Taston brooks overlooking the Evenlode river and the Wychwood Forest, with a Norman church (rebuilt in the mid 1700s) and a group of almshouses of 1688.
It is recorded in the Domesday Book as 'Spelesberie'.
