Spellbound is the initial novel in the The Legend of the Ice People series written by Margit Sandemo. This title is due to be published in English in June 2008.

Spellbound revolves around a 16-year-old girl named Silje Arngrimsdotter. After her family die from the plague she rescues two children and begins to raise them as her own. Due to this she has a chance meeting with a mysterious man dressed in a wolf skin, and so her tale begins.
