Speedblock
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Speedblock, Inc. is a former major construction company. It began in Europe, where they built walls for houses out of concrete instead of wood. After the company's astounding success, they moved across the Atlantic Ocean to the United States. Basing their headquarters in Ohio, they teamed up with corporations such as Maytag, Whirlpool, Kohler, and Builder's Square. The company went bankrupt in early 1998, following a failed sponsorship partnership with DarWal Inc. in NASCAR.
The last president of Speedblock was Dick Haas. Its United States headquarters was based in Kent, Ohio.
