Special Team Six

Special Team 6 is a multinational police force formed after the Kosovo conflict. The unit forms a part of the UN police and every country member of UN, can apply personnel to the unit. Their main task is simply to be police officers and handle dangerous situations caused by Albanian and Serb ethnic violence in Kosovo. High-risk arrests is also a task for ST6 along with security of diplomats. Other than this, tasks include that of what police special operation units normaly are trained to do, hostage rescue for instance.

Every country member of the UN, can apply personnel to the unit. They have to have background from police special forces. Countries that has or had personnel in ST6 includes:
- Germany: GSG9 and SEK
- Austria:EKO Cobra
- Norway: Beredskapstroppen
- Sweden: Nationella Insatsstyrkan
- Czech Republic: Útvar rychlého nasazení
