Special D (born Dennis Horstmann on September 16, 1980) is a German DJ and dance music artist who is particularly popular in The Netherlands, where he won the "Best Dance International" award at the 2004 TMF NL Awards. He is also popular among the Euro-Trance scene in North America.

His best known track, "Come With Me", reached number 6 in the UK Singles Chart and number 4 in the Irish Singles Chart in April 2004.

He still proceeds to make new tracks like the recent "You" or "Here I Am", which are frequently played on European dancefloors.

As of 2006, He is currently working on a second album which was expected to be released in the last quarter of 2007.
