Speaker of Turkish is the latest release by Muslimgauze. The album is one of many post-humous releases.
Recorded at Abraham Mosque, Manchester, 1997.
Edition History:
First edition: January 9, 2006, 400 copies, CD in papier mâché box.
Second edition: June 12, 2006, 1000 copies, CD in digipak.
First edition comes packaged in a handmade paper-hinged green-painted paper mache case with a Mosque "relief" on the front and held together with a beaded drawstring. The package contains the following warning sheet: "No two of these handmade cases are exactly alike. Some of these lie flat when opened while others refuse to open all the way. The paper hinge joining the two parts of the CD case is weak and prone to failure. Do not attempt to flatten your CD case if it doesn't open fully; the hinge will tear in half. Handle this CD with care. Do not attempt to remove the small 'Made in India' sticker from the back. Doing so will de-laminate the green paint from the case". Also included are a unique 2006 "calendar card" with your personal copy's number written in silver marker and a full-color oval sticker (sticker and calendar card art differs among copies).
