Speakeasy Records

Speakeasy Records is a Minneapolis-based spoken word and hip hop record label.

Founded in 1997 by E. G. Bailey. The label's first official release was Words Will Heal the Wound (Volume One), the first spoken word compilation in Minnesota.[1]

The name of the label is sometimes given as as Tru Ruts | Speakeasy Records or Tru Ruts/Speakeasy Records.
