Speak Easily is a 1932 comedy film starring Buster Keaton, Jimmy Durante, and Thelma Todd, and directed by Edward Sedgwick. The studio also paired Keaton and Durante as a comedy team during this period in The Passionate Plumber and What! No Beer?
Keaton was not accorded the creative freedom that he had enjoyed during the silent era and the three films, although well-made, were such critical and popular failures that they virtually finished Keaton's career as a major movie comedian in the United States.
