[edit] Gameplay
The game takes place in New York City. Fish-like aliens have invaded Earth, and the player must assume the role of a future soldier in order to destroy them and halt the invasion. The soldier is equipped with a jetpack-type device, which enables him to fly around the stage. The soldier also has a standard gun, which can be upgraded to a laser gun or other powerful weapons. Two orbital cannons constantly rotate around the soldier, which can be used to lock onto targets. There are various speed and health power-ups available to the player. The player can switch between a red soldier and blue soldier at any time, both of whom have different attributes. The game closely resembles Capcom's Forgotten Worlds. In both games, player fight as a human equipped with a jetpack, although in Forgotten Worlds the player is able to rotate their character and lacks the orbiting balls present in S.C.A.T.
