[edit] Episode recap
A man leaves a message on a woman (Mrs. Sellers)’s answering machine in a demonic voice stating that her teenage daughter Kaley was the best sex he ever had. Mrs. Sellers then calls Kaley’s cell phone and discovers that Kaley is bound and gagged somewhere. Detectives then learn that Kaley was a bike messenger for the Henshall and Langan law firm, and although Benson advises Mrs. Sellers not to make a press conference yet, she follows Langan’s advice by doing so.
After Munch and Fin retrieve Kaley’s phone from a garbage truck, a supposed psychic (Sebastian Ballentine) comes into the precinct and claims to have details about Kaley’s whereabouts, but Cragen has him escorted out. Sebastian leaves his business card behind. Morales finds photos an ex-boyfriend (Jake Ostrander) on Kaley's cell. Benson and Stabler then go into Kaley’s room and find Sebastian doing a psychic reading with Mrs. Sellers. After Stabler berates him, Sebastian claims that Kaley is “under flowing water, but she’s not wet”. Stabler orders him to stay away, but he shows up again at the precinct, and Stabler is then determined to keep him there. Benson and Sebastian run into Sister Peg while they are en route to the interview rooms; meanwhile, Jake reveals that Kaley was selling her virginity on an auction website. Munch and Fin question a high bidder until Kaley is found dead in Hell’s Kitchen directly under a water pipe, which Stabler interprets as her being under flowing water without being wet.
Stabler learns that Sebastian had been at the precinct all night, but he still believes that Sebastian killed Kaley. Stabler then interrogates Sebastian and he brings up personal things about Stabler’s family, but Huang interprets this knowledge as cold reading rather than psychic ability. After Benson tries the same test and fails, Huang suggests that Sebastian was trained in FACS. Sebastian’s wife and baby son (Carlene and Henry J., respectively) then come into the precinct and Sebastian doesn’t seem happy to see them; then Benson and Stabler go to the homeless shelter where Sister Peg works and find Kaley’s clothes in her room, but no sign of Sister Peg.
Stabler crashes down Sebastian’s door and finds no one there; then Novak refuses to try for a warrant until Benson suggests that Sebastian works with a partner. Sebastian’s computer shows that he was searching public records of various people, but also that the computer is registered to Henry Palaver of Montreal. Cragen then reveals that Sebastian Ballentine and Henry Palaver are the same person, and that Carlene is his partner-in-crime. Carlene states that she helps Sebastian commit his crimes so that he will love her and won’t leave her, as he won’t have sex with her because she isn’t a virgin. Carlene then confesses to where Sister Peg is being held, and Sister Peg states that she overheard Carlene say that everything is Henry J’s fault and that she and Sebastian “must have picked a bad baby”. Evidence shows that the baby was actually cut out of a woman that was eight months pregnant; thus, there are no birth records for Henry J. As Stabler takes her to jail, Sebastian tells her that he lied to her about not leaving her if she helped him commit crimes.

[edit] Quotes
Munch: Sir, we’re gonna have to ask you to empty the contents of your vehicle.
Garbage man: From the cab?
Munch: No, from the back.
Garbage man: What the hell for?
Fin: I tossed my wedding ring out last night on accident.
Garbage man: Damn, I’m at the end of my run! I got a full load in there.
Munch: He may have tossed in a girl as well.
Garbage man: Hey, I just compressed. If she was alive when she went in, she ain’t no more.
Ballentine: Look, I know what you’re thinking.
Stabler: ‘Course you do; you’re psychic.
Ballentine: You believe I’m mentally ill.
Cragen: [To Stabler] He’s good.
Ballentine: Look, I have worked with many other police departments on Missing Persons cases. Uh, my name is Sebastian Ballentine.
Stabler: The Sebastian Ballentine?
Ballentine: You’ve heard of me.
Stabler: No.
Kivlahan: That Sebastian guy? I thought he was the real deal.
Stabler: Kivlahan, I’m in no mood for jokes.
Kivlahan: No, he knew my mother’s name, and that she had passed, and that she didn’t get along with my wife.
Stabler: If you fell for that guy’s load of bull, you’re in the wrong line of work, pal.
