SPB colony

SPB colony is located at 6 kilometers (4 miles) east to the Erode, India. SPB Colony is the housing accommodation allotted to the employees of the Pulp and Paper mill, Seshasayee Paper & Boards Ltd and its extent is 155 acres. The total population in the colony is roughly around 5,000 consisting of people from various walks of life. It has a higher secondary school, library, park, recreation club, playground, temple, mosque and church.
The nearest airport is Coimbatore, nearest bus terminus and nearest railway station is Erode. The climate is simply superb just because of the number of trees surrounding each and every house there.
Nearby SPB Colony, historically famous temple is Arthanareeshwara Temple at Thiruchengode. In the historical period, Pancha Pandavas came to this place and took sunder the big Rock in the mountain. It is the only place in India where Lord Shiva and parvathi devi in single statue (ie., Lord Shiva gave his left part of body to Parvathi devi).
