No of course I'm not annoyed with you, Spawn. You've requested admin assistance; that's what I'm here for. I will try to monitor the situation, but alert me if the problem gets worse. These things happen. Just keep calm and civil, and everything will hopefully work out. Best, Firsfron of Ronchester 02:49, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Does anybody wanna talk? I miss having all my friends at my talk page. :..( Any topic will do... Thanks everybody! Spawn Man 06:17, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- Hey Spawn, how's it going? I'm not going to be up much longer tonight, but I thought I'd say hi. You've been doing some more excellent work I see. —Doug Bell talk•contrib 06:54, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Hey! just tot i'd drop by and tell you to go hot wire your stereo and talk into a microphone and let's see how far you go mate! (HAhaha Juist Kidding) - hey don't blame me, you da' one who wanted to talk, and and miss having your friends at your talk page. Wiki is for you, the ONLY place you can stay 'notable'. Cheers! bro!

- Thanks Ratnam, but I'm still not saving your article from deletion. I'm very notable outside of Wikipedia for things: I can outstare a cat, I can sing in D-minor, or E flat. I think... I can also blow bubbles. You should come & see my show! Anyway, thanks everyone for leaving a message. Also Ratnam, I agree, I don't think I would go far by talking into a microphone. I think I'd need to drive a car instead. Badum psisssh... Spawn Man 04:15, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

riana_dzasta has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. I can't believe I almost fell for the joke banner on your page AGAIN. Anyway, I'm so thrilled that you didn't make good on your promise (threats!) to leave - we need you around here. Take care of yourself. riana_dzasta 14:55, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

I was going to have one more vote (ending mid dec) on just prior collabs alone but a few noms came through and they were sensible ones so I thought what the heck and let them stand. Expanded this a little bit off what info I could rummage up. Is it big enough now to remove from the WP:Dino's Shortest dinosaur articles list?? Thanks Firsfron... :) Spawn Man 23:59, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks so much for expanding this much-neglected article, Spawn! After your work, I added just a few words, and it just barely scraped by 1K. So now it's off the short list, and on its way to being a real, full-fledged article! You know, I've noticed your name pop up on my dinosaur watchlist very often these last few weeks. Thanks for so much hard work! Best wishes, Firsfron of Ronchester 02:53, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Dashanpusaurus:
Thanks for the kind words. It felt good creating a dinosaur article again, as you guys seem to beat me to it all the time. This time I went mad & created Shaximiao Formation as well, the formation in which it was found. Hope you like them... :) Spawn Man 01:20, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
- I know what you mean, Spawn Man. I get a lot of satisfaction turning red links blue. :) Your latest articles look great; keep up the fantastic work. :) Firsfron of Ronchester 02:01, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
- BTW, Spawn, did you ever request those dinosaur FAs for the main page? Stego will make an appearance on Wikipedia's main page on the 27th! Would be cool if we had a nice, say, theropod, to counter the herbivore "yuckiness" ;) Firsfron of Ronchester 05:58, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
- Oh yes, herbivore yuckiness indeed! No I didn't get round to it. I asked Sheepy (I think?) a while ago & he said he had requested it, so I just left them. Maybe you guys should do it, since they're yours & all, and that would be special for you. I wouldn't want to steal your fun... :) Spawn Man 00:11, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Mifunesaurus:
I've been trying to add to this article, but a problem has occurred... Why in the article does it state that it has not been described, when 2 links, including the one provided, that I have found say that it has been described, by both one Heng in 1985 & one Dong? Is it still a nomen nudum or has it been described? Thanks Firsfron, Spawn Man 00:41, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- This is a common question that comes up, Spawn Man. Nomina nuda (the plural form) are names that have been published or mentioned without a proper and complete description. A partial description, such as a brief mention in a book or paper, doesn't count. Only full descriptions, usually with illustrations, are "counted" in modern paleontology as described. Even then, the validity of the genus may be questioned by others: a nomen dubium is a genus which is is in doubt; we've also got a category for completely invalid dinosaurs: those which have been proved to be beyond a doubt not dinosaurian: fakes ("Archaeoraptor"), complete missassignments ("Unicerosaurus"), and, as you once wittily put it, "crappy pieces of petrified wood" (Aachenosaurus).
- Our source for "Mifunesaurus" does say it was described. At the same time, it calls it a nomen nudum, with a link to the nomen nudum definition, which says nomina nuda refers "to a name that has been published or mentioned without a proper and complete description."
- I hope this helps. I wish you much luck on expanding this article. It's damned hard trying to expand these articles for which so little is known. But I really hope we can build each one up to above 1K, and I thank you for your efforts.

Don't waste your breathe on me, I'll remain ignorant. ;) Anyway, I only found minimal info on the dinosaur anyways... Have a great day mate!!! :) Spawn Man 06:19, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- You certainly deserve it, after all your work. Sorry about confusing you. Maybe I can put it more simply: "Described" means "this dinosaur was described in a big, formal report, with footnotes and diagrams, and tons of info". "Nomen nudum" means "some guy once mentioned it in a book or paper, but only briefly". Easy, right? :) Enjoy the barnstar. Firsfron of Ronchester 06:33, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Hello, Spawn Man - I apologize if I offended you in any way from my response to your comment - I didn't imply that you were the one to nkow - it was actually a rhetorical question that I didn't expect anyone to be able to answer. Sorry! –- kungming·2 (Talk) | Review 06:06, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your participation
I wanted to thank you for your participation in my RfA that recently passed. I know I said on the RfA that I wouldn't be sending out thank you notices, but I decided to make an exception for my nominator and the people that asked the excellent questions on the RfA. I was delighted to have the opportunity to discuss my views, and while I may not have been able to explain satisfactorily to you regarding my views on the conflict of interest that any involvement in the article about me creates, I was still quite grateful for your question that allowed me to discuss my views on it. I think that the open discussion allowed people to make an informed decision, and that's all I could hope for. So thanks so much for your participation! RfA
Woah, thanks! :) It looks like you beat Riana dzasta to it.
I think I'll finally accept this time, although I'll be telling Yanksox, my admin coach, to see what he thinks. Thank you very much for the offer, I really am grateful. Daveydweeb (chat/review!) 02:25, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

- Friends? What is this friendship you speak of? :p Of course not! And my list is very long because I... just like people :D I'm writing up his co-nom now, I'll let you know when I've finished it, and you can take a look at it, k? riana_dzasta 06:18, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- No, no! I was joking :) I don't mind who nominates him, as long as I get a say in it somewhere... :) And that he gets through it, because I know he'll do a good job. riana_dzasta 06:55, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Heh, at 4 FAs you're worried about edit counts? ;) riana_dzasta 07:23, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Heya, I'm going to accept -- two nominators is quite enough to convince me that it's a good idea, although I'll try to get a response from Yanksox before too long. I'll just wait for Riana to finish writing her co-nom if she wants to, then I'll answer the questions and post it. :) Thanks! Daveydweeb (chat/review!) 07:47, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

RfA (2) :)
Hey Spawn Man, you've certainly been busy over at RfA ;) Thanks so much! Unfortunately I'll have to decline at this point, as - for a variety of reasons - I don't think it would be completely feasible for me to run at this point, mainly because I'm rather busy in real life right now (post-exam mania) and don't think it'd be quite right for me right now. I wasn't really planning on running until April/March of next year, so this is a little unexpected :) Thanks all the same, I'm glad you think I'm doing a good job, but I feel that if a person isn't completely ready for adminship themselves, they'll likely do a pretty poor job of it. Thanks again :) But not this time. I hope you understand. riana_dzasta 02:54, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- Awww, that's sweet of you! :) hugs I definitely would like to run at some point, so I'll let you know when that point comes :) But not quite yet. Just... doesn't feel right. riana_dzasta 03:01, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- Heh, I'll explain. Basically RfA is, ostentatiously, NOT a vote. It's a discussion. Votes are not votes, they are discussions, arguments or opinions. But it's pretentious to say argument, discussion, opinion etc, so people tend to call them !votes. Meaning, votes which are not votes. It's... strange :) riana_dzasta 06:12, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Re: Luz
Hmm, I can't quite figure out what's going on here either; but I'd say that the two pages can probably be merged with no ill effects. ;-) Kirill Lokshin 05:50, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
My RfA
Oh, the humanity!
I had my doubts about accepting a nomination for a second RfA, but even I couldn't have predicted the stir it caused as it drifted to the ground in flames! Still, it was as educational as ever. Thanks for your input; it will be on my mind as I continue to edit Wikipedia, and perhaps I will have earned your support if another nomination comes around. "Protecovasaurus"
This one's a bit of a mess, which is my fault. I'm headed to class, and will not have time for a few hours, but I've done some quick corrections. Nomina nuda don't get taxoboxes, and, as you said, it's no longer considered an ornithiscian anymore (or even a dinosaur), so more work will definitely be needed. Good catch! Yours in haste, Firsfron of Ronchester 00:58, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, turns out, Dinodata is out of date. Protecovasaurus has been formally described since 2004. So, the taxobox goes back on, and I've fixed the rest. Thanks for your work on this one; it sure had me confused. The article is now 1.5k and has been officially removed from the short list! Woot! 1 more down, 66 to go! - For one thing, I am not a friggin girl! So please stop referring to me as "her". Secondly, I am not a "disruptive user", I just get pissed off when I make an article and before you know it, it's up for deletion. I'm sure you understand this. Another thing is that I could have easily added more to that article if it would save it from deletion, so why couldn't you have said that to me in the first place? And by the way, Lost isn't just a flashback, 60-70% of each episode is on the island. So please, lay off me and stop saying stuff about me behind my back. --SilvaStorm
-
- Obviously 1 hour wasn't long enough for you to cool down huh? Anyway, your name sounded feminine, so sorry about the confusion. Heck, I thought Sango was a boy for a year... Anyway, yes you are being a disruptive user. Secondly, nothing could really have been done to save your article from deletion. Every episode has a flash back, so you would have listed every epsisode there. As I said, in this state, one may have just used an episode list. Also, I was not the one who nominated it. I think it was also prodded, but you deleted the prod? I may be wrong, but that tells you the article is in violation basically... Lastly, I'm not "laying into you". We don't have backs on Wikipedia to talk behind, only talk pages where we can choose to place comments or not. I was merely talking to Doug, as you were blocked. If you hadn't gotten yourself blocked after reacting angrily to my nice posts, then I would have happily continued our discussion. Anyway, I hope you can stay out of trouble from now on... Sick of Dinosaurs? Try Fungi
DYK there are no fungal Featured Articles on wikipedia at all? I've modelled this on the dinosaur collaboration which has yielded a few FAs. Please have a look and cast your vote and we'll try a concerted attempt at an FA. Link here......Fungi Collaboration
(hope I got all the templates right...) cheers Cas Liber 03:29, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- The main thing is getting people who are familiar with getting things to FA standard as the info is all there on a few pages, its just that on a few it doesn't 'sit' well - reminds me of the problem when I first nominated Stegosaurus and it just didn't sit right but I couldn't make it work. Amanita muscaria (which would be my favourite) is a bit the same. Cas Liber 06:25, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
Your comments on my RFA
Hey Spawn Man, just wanted to quickly say thanks for your comments on my RFA. Despite you opting for oppose (which I fully understand), you were generous enough to let me know why you were leaning that way. I'm also appreciative of your comments to some of the other oppose votes. I think there's something a bit stinky in the system if the so-called "RFA etiquette" means responding to oppose votes is frowned upon and causes a number of oppose votes in itself. Still, each to their own. As for the name, well yeah, I'll change it, but since it's my global internet username, it's going to take some getting used to. Personally, I prefer ParakeetPoker...! Anyway, cheers again for your time and interest. Budgiekiller 07:57, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

My RFA
Hey, thanks for participating in my recent RFA. You were amongst a number of editors who considered that I wasn't ready for the mop yet and as a consequence the RFA did not succeed (69/26/11). I am extremely grateful that you took the time to advise me on to improve as a Wikipedian and I'd like to assure you that I'll do my level best to develop my skills here to a point where you may feel you could trust me with the mop.
I've been blown away by the level of interest taken in my RFA and appreciate the time and energy dedicated by all the editors who have contributed to it, support, oppose and neutral alike. I hope to bump into you again soon and look forward to serving you and Wikipedia in any way I can. Cheers! Right then. Between now and yesterday I have been busy and was out all last night so had no opportunity to deal with the kids books issue. I was planning to deal with it soon and Raul beat me by annoucing the FA stuff. The other discrete commnet you made that could be acted upon we discussed and as I pointed out I was loath to make lots of small sections having been criticised for it before. Also, when you come in at the end with new stuff it struck me as a delicate situation after some extensive touch ups with some other objectors in the nomination. As far as some vague "could be better" comment well I confess I couldn't really act upon that. I also think you really need to take a look at your attitude, the negativity is really starting to get me down - if I or someone else were to write some of the things you've written I'm sure we'd never hear the end of it. I (and others) have tried to be as diplomatic as possible and resent being patronised.
I do think you've got a lot to offer and yes I can be a bit of a "near enough is good enough" sort of slob at times which is why I feel I work best in collaboration with others, espeically with people who have more of a perfiectionistic streak (and I mean that as a strength not a weakness) and do look forward to working on fungi and NZ parrots and stuff. I am just a bit busy with life off the computer too. Cas Liber 22:14, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hi Spawn Man! There seems to be a disconnect here. The comment in question is Factual children's books about dinosaurs generally contain material on Triceratops, with at least two featuring it in combat with Tyrannosaurus, generally as a climactic episode toward the end of the book. Finding books which don't have the climactic battle won't prove the statement incorrect, as it doesn't state most children's books have it, only that at least two do. If you can find a better way to phrase this, I hope you will improve the disputed sentence; you've got a long history of FAC contributions, and I was glad to work with you on Tyrannosaurus. No reason you can't fix this, too. :) Best wishes, Firsfron of Ronchester 22:36, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
-
- Well I don't see why a phrase can't be said like: "A reoccuring theme in children's dinosaur books is a final showdown or battle between the Triceratops & T. rex. As such these two dinosaurs are often depicted & thoguht of as natural enemies." Then we could slot the text about that show "The truth about killer dinos" & how the guy found about the reality from this sort of fight? Sounds good to me, will post to you both as the current sentence just isn't working too well & could confuse people... Spawn Man 22:49, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hi Spawn Man,
- I really like the change you suggest. It seems a bit clearer. Could we go with something like "A recurring theme in children's dinosaur books is a final showdown or battle between Triceratops and T. rex. These two dinosaurs are often depicted as natural enemies, though it is not clear whether the two battled the way they are commonly depicted."? Firsfron of Ronchester 23:04, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

- I will reiterate: I like the sentence you have coined and agree with the other stuff. As far as attitudes it is clear you feel that you have said or done nothing wrong at all and I am completely at fault. Therefore it is pointless carrying on any discussion on the matter - let's move on. cheers Cas Liber 23:09, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the nomination offer, Spawn Man :) I'm going to be really on and off for the next week and a bit, so do you mind if I think harder about it after that? I promise I'll think about it more seriously this time around :) Take care, riana_dzasta 11:54, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

Still, I always try to make sure my milestone edit (1K, 2k, etc) is on a dinosaur article. Hey
Hey dude, don't let it get you down, please! Wiki needs you way too much. I know people leaving does suck, and it sometimes looks like there are a lot of reasons to leave, but I think there are a lot more reasons to stay. Things seem to be a bit hectic around here lately (New Year's resolutions, maybe :) ) and I'm not even going to begin complaining about all the stuff keeping me busy right now, but once it's all over, we'll catch up, I promise :) With all those dinosaur stubs that need expanding, you can't possibly leave! (And besides, who's gonna keep pushing me towards RfA if you go? :p) Cheer up, hun. riana_dzasta 07:37, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hi there, I really don't see where you get the idea that nobody likes you. Riana probably said it best that there are lots of reasons to stay. Please don't take it personally if other people are a bit absorbed by other matters. We do care for you. --Kyoko 07:45, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hey my fellow Kiwi can't up and leave here - there's hardly any of us as it is! Seriously, don't go, maybe take a wikibreak for a day or two (or a week or two like I just did) and come back... but you're too valuable for me to let go without a fight! :) Have a think about it, but dont make any rash decisions okay... we need ya here! Maybe leaving?
My best friend on Wikipedia just left & I'm kinda depressed. Don't know if I'm gonna stay here. All my "friends" never message me cause they're all too busy. I've just realised nobody likes me on here anyway, so what's the point of staying. Just letting you all know. Don't know what I'm doing right now, so yeah, I don't know... Spawn Man 07:22, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- What's the point of leaving when there are still 1,169 dinosaur articles left to get up to Featured Article (or even Good Article) status? I know you said you don't like "icky" ornithischians, but that still leaves 538 theropods, any one of which could stand to use 10 or 12 references (enough to get them up to GA status at least). You've nearly singlehandedly gotten dinosaur articles up to Featured Status. It seems to me you'd have no problem getting several articles up to GA. Just friendly suggestions on why you should stick around, if the above comments don't convince you. :) Firsfron of Ronchester 00:27, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Message to people who left notes & such on my talk
Thanks for your kind words! I took one of my infamous Wikibreaks & am doing just fine now. I'd prefer not to talk about the leaving of my friend, but I probably over-reacted anyway. It seems so hard to remove emotions from this place & it feels horrible when something goes wrong on here. Who would have thought editing an encyclopedia would be so emotional eh? I mean, I wonder if the techs at Encarta or Brittanica get all choked up everytime someone goes on holiday or deletes their sentence. Anyway, thanks again for the kind words & I hope I can get back up to full edits again some time soon.... :) Spawn Man 09:07, 7 February 2007 (UTC) P.S. Darn, someone deleted my Lemming picture!
- I'm glad you're feeling better. Having worked at Brittanica, I can say that we did not have that issue. Perhaps it's not the activity, but your approach to it. I would like to see you achieve a more even keel in editing here for your own sake—the emotional swings you seem to go through seem pretty hard on you. —Doug Bell talk 09:20, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
-
- A somewhat cryptic message? I was talking in general about Wikipedia's raw emotion, but yes, I get your jist. I don't feel I'm that emotional. I've been pretty good lately, but this was pretty upsetting. Anyway, I don't take my own actions to heart, sure I may get sad, but a lil' emotion never hurt anybody. ;) C ya around DB. My last RfA/me
Hi Spawn Man! You opposed my last RfA in late November 2006. There were opposes citing civility and inexperience with policy. It's about 3 months after that, and I think I've gained more experiance in policy and more emotional stability on-wiki. Recently I've been doing a bit of Wikipedia:WikiProject Spam stuff, though this last week I haven't had a great deal of time. Anyway, I was considering an RfA in a month or two, and I wanted to ask a few people if they had any recommendations as to what I should to or criticisms over the last few months. Thanks for reading! There's no reason why you couldn't have added your nomination after the !voting had started. I added mine hours after it was listed and 21 people had already voted. - (edit conflict) Indeed, Sarah is right that you can; in fact, when I accepted my RfA late last month, I had a few co-nominations. After that, more than double the original number were added. You can add your co-nom even if it is after the candidate has been accepted, as evidenced by that. Daniel.Bryant 08:11, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

- Geez, people just don't get it. that's not the point. My leaving has been coming a long time. People sound generally relieved to hear I'm going. It was the way that Glen totally knew what I wanted & totally ignored it. To add insult to injury, he even used the exact same support wording as me. Then for Riana to sit back as all her admin friends told me all those hurtful things I've mentioned on her talk page, that is unforgivable. And those were admins, not usual editors. And you know what's going to happen now? Everyone's gonna go, "C ya Spawn!" & go, "Aww, Riana, I'm really sorry about your dad, & Spawn just blew everything out of proportion". No one gave a shit when my mum was in hospital nearly dead, did they? Look back in my archives, not one aww sorry. Then her admin friends are gojng to accept her as a new admin & no justice is going to come of all the hurtful things they said. they are meant to be civil, but they weren't. In fact this has hardly anything to do with me actually complaining about not getting to nominate. I've probably lost the respect of everyone now, because everyone lsitens to what the admins say. It doesn't matter that I provided all the hurtful things they said to me & the fun they made when I was being perfectly civil. No, it only matters that Riana's feelings were hurt. Nobody cares about mine. So becasue of all this, it is probably best I go. I mean what am I staying for? I'm never going to make adminship, geez I only have 4 FA's. If you have no FA's or GA's like Riana, you get through because of who you know. Me, geez, nearly 1 & a half years hard work & because I'm not likeable I'm never going to make it. A bit lop sided. And Riana isn't the only one. I'll be answering all posts directed at me, but I'm going to leave soon. Just thoguht I'd make my point before I do.... Spawn Man 08:22, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
-
- All I can say Spawn is that if anyone spends the time to read through all of these exchanges it will become obvious who is saying the hurtful things. Everything is about you, isn't it? You go on and on (without actually going) and it's all about you—who didn't do this for you or say that to you and how terrible we all must be because of what poor Spawn Man didn't get and we must all hate him so. You have your outbursts, making hurtful comments about others, yet it's all about you. Everyone is supposed to tiptoe around you and you can be irrational, spiteful, and self-centered and then we're all supposed to come by and say "Oh please don't go!" Your comment up above mocking Riana's situation with her dad makes me sick. Grow up. —Doug Bell talk 08:43, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
-
-
- I was going to stay out of this, but... Spawn Man, have you considered the possibility that people forgot, or made a mistake? It can be difficult to coordinate things when we Wikipedians are scattered across the globe. I sincerely believe that nobody deliberately excluded you from the co-nom and that they didn't want to hurt your feelings. In the larger scheme of things, a co-nom on a Wikipedia RfA is a tiny, a miniscule, a infinitesmallly trivial thing. Riana's dad is seriously ill. You yourself have said that your mother nearly died. How does being left out of an RfA co-nom compare to those?
-
-
- Wow, Doug, that was really hurtful. I shall leave as you request. I wasn't mocking, only pointing out that cases differ between popular & unpopular people. I don't want & never asked for "Oh please don't go" messages & said they would only be fake. It's not all about me & all of you have been saying that it is. I have no choice now but to fall on my own sword cause there's no way I'm returning back like this & to all this hostility. It's not even about the RfA. I've left a note at Jimbo's talk page that clearly & calmly explains all my feelings on the matter if anyone cares to read what I actually think. Doug, etc, don't bother posting any more hurtful messages here, they won't be read & you'll be wasting everyone's time. Goodbye. Spawn Man 09:28, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Looking forward
Dear Spawny, consider this as an option (as opposed to just leaving which I can tell you're really ambivalent about as you clearly miss lots of aspects about wikipedia). You keep getting more and more worked up by communications on talk pages (whether justified or not - note I don;t want to get into an argument over causation and whose fault anything is, just try and find a way to look forward).
You have done some good FAs and are clearly good at it so why not stick to editing only mainspace and talk pages of mainspace articles for a fixed period of time (sort of like Vipassana by editing alone), until you feel rejuvenated (which I'm sure you will). cheers Cas Liber 10:13, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

- Yah man, please stick around and edit. Your contributions are appreciated, and you may find that after everybody calms down that things will turn out fine. Everybody does not want you gone... in fact, maybe one or two people at best. Maybe. I'm not familiar with your situation, but from what I've seen I think things have been blown a bit out of proportion. Please stay. From the contributions, all I can see is a bunch of stuff about RFA: someone nominated someone else without you, and you believe RFA is a popularity contest. I don't understand this outburst. Note of apology
I know this is probably going to do squat for my reputation now (Not that I ever really had one), but I thought I'd leave a note of apology to everyone involved in my recent actions. An explaination is in order too. First off, I had a bad real life situation, that I really don't want to talk about, on the day this all started. I shouldn't have edited on Wikipedia afterwards, but I did. When I saw the situation with Riana's RfA, it kind of set off a build up of unvented anger at my situation & it was un needed. My whole tyraid had very little to do with the RfA, but I guess I took it out on that angle anyway. The way I was handled could have been better, but I wont go there in threat of making this sound like a back handed apology. My apologies go to Riana, who was also having a real life crisis at the time too. Basically the whole thing was a misunderstanding & venting process which I involved you all in. In regard to the whole sock puppetry thing, I had told my brother about my problems in due trust & he went & did something stupid on here. I don't really know what else to say but sorry. If that & a little bit of hard work repairing relationships on here doesn't change your current view point of me, then I don't think anything will. So again, sorry if I've inconvenienced you guys in any way & I hope that over time you'll think better of me. I'd love if you guys could forgive & hopefully forget & I wasn't really in control of myself these past few days. Hopefully things can get back to normal. :) Spawn Man 06:43, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

To whit:
- Iguanodon - will have to travel the longest road of any article to FA status..it's calling you..
- Amanita muscaria & Tuber (genus) - vying for the inaugural fungi as Featured articles. we could do with a good copyeditor.
- Kakapo...looking better, though no-one apart from me has voted keep yet....
- there is a tied vote on the dino collab page -due to be voted on by 5 days' time...
- Magician (fantasy) - current FA candidate - I opposed it then tried to help out copyediting but its a big job.......
