[edit] Members of Goldie Lookin Chain

Hi Spartak,

Please do not create one/two-line articles for each member of the band since their individual biographies are not notable on their own to pass the WP:BIO Wikipedia guidelines. I will be listing them for deletion shortly, but I will be providing you with details on how to file an appeal.

[edit] AfD Nomination 2Hats

I've nominated the article 2Hats for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that 2Hats satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2Hats. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of 2Hats during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. --  Netsnipe  (Talk)  09:04, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Disambiguation

Hello! Just wanted to let you know that [[Rap]] links to a disambiguation page, Rap. You might want to link to Hip hop music or Rapping instead. Thanks! Dreadlocke 21:27, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] re Goldie Lookin Chain members

I changed all (except Maggot) to redirects to the band. If you want to get info on the members to put into the band article, it's still there in the history.Herostratus 07:41, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] re Goldie Looking Chain images

I deleted the images because you had tagged them either for use only on Wikipedia or only for noncommerical use. Images used on Wikipedia have to be released fully into the public domain, or under GDFL license which is pretty much the same thing. See Wikipedia:Copyrights. Herostratus 18:48, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Well, on the upload images page, under license. If you own the rights to the images yourself (image rights usually belong to the photographer) or have the permission of the owner, you can pick "You created this yourself and release it to the public domain" or "GDFL (self-made)", which is basically the same. Don't pick any of the other self-made tags as these are don't appy. Be aware, though, that if you do this, then anyone can use the images for any reason (including on a site that attacks or makes fun of the subjects of the image, to put on T-shirts, or anything else). So be sure that you or the rights owner (if it's not you) wants to do this. Herostratus 18:57, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
