[edit] Unspecified source for Image:550x360 east joe dies pic02.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:550x360 east joe dies pic02.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:36, 26 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 21:36, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Arthur Fowler
Please stop adding Arthur Fowler to Pauline Fowler's family section on her article. He was only her husband until she married Joe, who then took the role of her husband. She can't have two husbands! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 21:36, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Th 550x360 east joe dies pic02.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Th 550x360 east joe dies pic02.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] EastEnders articles
Thank you for your contibutions to EastEnders-realted articles. They are much appreciated, however, may I suggest you spell check your work before saving it to Wikipedia? I suggest copying and pasting it into Microsoft Word and using the spell check facility, as it takes a lot of time to correct spelling mistakes. Also, please do not add too much information to articles, and make sure it is relevant to the specific character. Also, please do not use double spaces (two spaces after every full stop) - it makes the article longer. If you have any queries, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Thanks. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 22:13, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- Please remember not to leave two spaces after a full stop, it makes articles unneccessarily longer. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 21:26, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 15:07, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] June 2007
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Malcolm Stickle. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Iknowyourider (t c) 15:51, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Coronation Street characters
Glad to see you're working hard with your edits! Have you read WP:FICTION? It is a collection of guidelines about how we write for Wikipedia when the subject is fictional. I draw your attention specifically to minor characters and what it says about them. A number of new articles have appeared recently about characters like Derek, Linda and Kim Carswell, which contain little information. As far as we are aware these characters are not permanent and are only very minor, any information should ideally be merged into respective character profiles which are larger (for instance Liz McDonald or Claire Peacock). Keep up the good work and try to read things like WP:FICTION to help you with your edits and to understand what should be included and what shouldn't! BenC533 22:41, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Liz McDonald OR Liz Tomlin
If you look at the Liz Tomlin TalkPage, you can see that the debate whether Liz had (1) only taken Vernon’s surname personally, but not for business, or (2) had not taken Vernon’s surname at all, remains unresolved. You should perhaps not have unilaterally changed the name of the page until a consensus had been reached. (See WP:Consensus.) I too am of the mind that it should probably be McDonald. But, no one has been able to verify it either through Google searches or from the ITV website. So, until we can be more certain, and in the meantime, you might want to change it back to Liz Tomlin. — SpikeToronto (talk) 21:13, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
