To-do list for User:Spazure:
  • Peter Williams (actor) -- create a table for filmography, re-write intro paragraph
  • Astrid Young -- expand info for videos
  • Beefy (artist) -- create a reference section, properly cite sources, and add additional sources as necessary to show notability
  • Shael Riley -- cite sources to show notability, find a free image
  • The Ernies -- Flesh out Info's there, I just can't seem to write it better. Releasing to the world for edits and rewrites.
  • funky49 -- collect enough data and start an article, primarily making a case for notability, then expanding after notability is established. User:Funky49 has some good references for a start, but research will be needed to get enough to satisfy notability criteria fails WP:NMG at this time
  • Nursehella -- collect sources for notability, then create Although popular in the nerdcore community, she does not meet Wikipedia's notability policies at this time.

[edit] About me

I'm currently working overnights in a call center. Since there is often a lot of free time in-between calls, I've taken to helping editing Wikipedia during that downtime. As a result, most of my edits will be minor things, such as a spelling correction, slight rephrasing, and things of that nature. I have, however, taken upon a few "pet projects" where I intend to do more extensive edits, although due to the nature of my work, I can never guarantee that I can start and finish the edit all in one setting. Therefore, I will be using my user page primarily as a way to keep track of my intentions concerning extensive edits and any new articles I might add.

Since I work in customer service, I have a very thick skin. If you have any criticism concerning one of my edits, a suggestion, or just have a question, please don't be afraid to be bold and talk to me! I'm new, I'm going to make mistakes, and the only way I'll learn is if I know what the mistakes are. :)

[edit] Trivia

  • The first program I ever wrote from scratch was called "favorcalc", and is a now-worthless command-line program used for calculating favor with the Voln faction in Gemstone III (now upgraded and called GemStone IV). I've considered making something similar, but using the WoW API, for calculating Scryer/Aldor rep in World of Warcraft, but I'm already Exalted with Aldor, so I probably won't bother unless somebody other than me shows some interest in it.
  • Code I've written has been shared by officials running the Salesforce.com online blogs, despite my personal belief that nobody in any "important" company would ever use my work because I never bothered to get a degree in programming.
  • I have also made a few minor mods for Trillian, and World of Warcraft. You've never heard of me because I'm not as brave as Linus Torvalds, so I only share my programs and addons I've created with people that personally ask me for them, they're not freely downloadable anywhere, although they are all open source.
  • I will work in customer service until the day I die, not programming or database administration. This is not because I can't do the job, I know I can. I just don't like the feeling of having to dress like a "business person", and I like having blue hair. This didn't go over well at salesforce.com, and it probably wouldn't go over well anywhere else, either. Call me naive for choosing happiness over money if you want, but I don't regret it. I still get to work with code and databases, I'm just limited to mysql instead of Oracle.
