About me

Hi!

My user name is Spawn Man, but you can call me Spawn if you want to. If you still want to call me something else, I also respond to Bob the Lemming. I've been editing here since the 8/8/2005 & I wish to become an admin some time in the future.

Now for a little bit about me; I live in New Zealand, a very cold series of islands near Australia. Here it is almost year-round winter & on the days it is nicer, we rush to the beach or park for a day out. I have a cat named Smokey. He is fat & lazy & doesn't like people too much unless you're feeding him. Good thing he can't reach the computer to read this or he'd start eating the cords to my xbox.

Yes, I said the magic word: Xbox. If you know me, then you'll know I love video games. In fact, I'm quite into a lot of things: I collect postcards, business cards, coins, stamps, crystals, Lord Of The Rings stuff (Yes, I made it to the world premiere in Wellington), autographs & a whole lot of other stuff. Basically I'm a geek (Just kidding).

I enjoy reading books, especially paper ones. Although I take a long time to read (Due mainly to the fact I fall asleep halfway through & then start again), I eventually finish & then forget the book altogether. Along with books, I read & collect comics (The book kind, not the stand-up kind), of which, Batman is by far the best hero of them all.

I love art. Photography, sketching, painting, models (The plastic ones, not actual, anorexic models), I do it all. Even poetry & writing; I have won several poetry, story writing & painting competitions.

My eyes are getting sore, so some of my other, less interesting hobbies are running, watching old & new movies, listening to music, Japanese, going for tramps (The hiking tramps, not the huckery mole type of ones!).

Other than my strange series of collections & usual hobbies, I often delve into this thing called eating. Yes, you could say I am a protectus carnivorus: I eat meat & the last waiter who tried to take my plate off me lost an arm. Although I do eat vegetables, my heart lies in the world of salami & steak.

If you really, really know me, you know I complain a lot. I complain about opinionated people, I complain about passive people, I complain about noisy, quiet & fanatical people. I complain about snotty kids, I complain about anything & everything. I hate maths, tomatoes (Except in sauces), moths (Evil little creatures), Helen Clark & George W. Bush, injections (I hate people more who actually look as they are being given the injection) & unfairness.

As for me on Wikipedia: I am here to write an encyclopedia and I love creating articles. There's nothing you can do to take me away from it and I plan to be here like a bad smell which won't dissipate forever. I can get stressed, but treat me with respect and everyone will have a nice time. I'm officially an "experienced" editor according to some people, so feel free to approach me about anything, whether it's help with that unbending article or a policy issue. I enjoy writing about new things & often vary what I write about; from games to dinosaurs, from movies to war. I am known as the DYK King around these parts & if you need a hand, I'm always ready to help. Don't hesitate to ask for anything! Overall, I have a good sense of humour, like to joke around & I love using exclaimation marks frequently. But you can always count on me to get a job done.

And now you people out there have enough information to start to stalk me (Please don't) so I'll stop talking now...
