[edit] Song Name

The article calls the song "Spank Through". Shouldn't it have its' proper name, "Spank Thru"?

It was never released on any CD under the title "Spank Through". The song title is definetly "Spank Thru".
It actually was (incorrectly) titled "Spank Through" on the CD single for "Sliver": [1]. --jh51681 09:28, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Still A Stub?

Is this still considered a stub?

[edit] Images

Anyone else of the opinion that these images should go? I don't think they add much to the entry. At the very least, the back of the CD image should go. – Mipadi July 1, 2005 21:32 (UTC)

[edit] Bulleted Points

Whoever keeps changing the intro to bulleted points—please stop. This article should be consistent with the format of other Wikipedia articles. – Mipadi July 2, 2005 15:58 (UTC)

[edit] A change

I changed ""Spank Thru", according to Kurt Cobain, was the first ever Nirvana song" to ""Spank Thru", according to Krist Novoselic, was the first ever Nirvana song." I don't know if Cobain had ever said it was their first song, but I know Novoselic has said that, and I know that it was the song that had attracted Novoselic to the idea of being in a band with Cobain.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:SubPop200.jpg

Image:SubPop200.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Theme

"The real theme of this song is mockery of love and using masturbation as a substitute when you can't find anyone to have sex with you]]. Such lyrics as "We'll be together once again my love I need you back oh baby baby" and "I can spank it, I can beat it, masturbate it" make this theme known."

Should this be in the article? Or, Should the "Make this theme known" Part be removed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.21.28.251 (talk) 22:08, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
