The novel couldn't have been written in 1985 if the mini-series aired in April of that year, could it? Or is the mini-series year wrong? Everyking 28 June 2005 09:47 (UTC)
Just for the record, I'm going to be undertaking a gradual upgrade of this page and linked pages. There is nowhere near enough character detail and the plot summary is pretty weak. I'll be adding some thoughts on the roles of women in the book and expanding on the differences between the book and the TV show. Such a great book, it deserves more coverage here.
