"Spatula City" is a commercial parody by "Weird Al" Yankovic for a spatula outlet store in the movie UHF. Spatula City is owned by Sy Greenblum (himself a parody of famous Remington Razors CEO and spokesman Victor Kiam). He says (while very obviously reading from a cue card) "I liked their spatulas so much, I bought the company."

[edit] Commercial
Spatula City was intended largely as a spoof of commercials airing at the time for Circuit City. In the commercial, Eldon G. Hallum plays the father, Sherry Engstrom plays the wife, and Sara Allen plays the neighbor.
[edit] Notes
- The "Spatula City" sign was placed on a real billboard in Tulsa, OK, for the film, and was left there for several months after shooting was over. According to the DVD commentary, many tourists would exit the freeway like the billboard said, and would drive for long periods of time looking for Spatula City, thinking that it was real. The billboard could be seen from eastbound SH-51 at its intersection with Memorial Drive.
- "Spatula City" is frequently played as a parody on the Rush Limbaugh show. Presidential Aide Karl Rove jokingly asked Rush Limbaugh whether Spatula City was a real store, in Limbaugh's August 15, 2007 interview with him.
