Spathularia flavida is an ascomycete fungus found in coniferous forests and known in North America and Europe. It produces a small, distinctive fruitbody with a flat, wavy or lobed cream to yellow coloured head raised on a white to cream stalk. The height is usually around 2-5 cm, and up to 8 cm. The fruitbodies may occur singly or in large groups and are infrequent. Some report it as edible but its edibility is uncertain. Its texture is thin, firm and slightly rubbery. It has a pleasant taste, but no smell.

The fungus fruits in summer and autumn and may be confused with the similarly-looking Leotia lubrica.
