Spartan X 2 is a side-scrolling action game by Irem for the Famicom, sequel to Spartan X (Kung Fu Master), that has a martial arts master kicking and punching through a generic city in Japan. Most of the game is in Japanese. Even though Japanese literacy skills are not required to play the actual game, the literacy skills are needed to intepret the story behind the action and the fantasy violence. There stages involving city streets, subways, and other exotic locations.
