Sparrow (AKA: Jubilation Lee) is an Amalgam Comics character and sidekick to Dark Claw. She first appeared in Legends of the Dark Claw #1. Sparrow is a combination of Robin of DC Comics and Jubilee of Marvel Comics. It is notable that in the Marvel vs. DC storyline, these two characters actually had a relationship during the crossover.

[edit] History

Jubilation Lee was a young girl who had training in police skills, and pilot training, as well as superhuman powers. With this to her advantage, Jubilation was recruited by Dark Claw to pilot his Claw-Copter, after she stumbled on his base by accident. He gave her the codename "Sparrow" (although she wanted to be "Death-Urge Overdrive")

However, Sparrow never got along with Dark Claw's second partner Huntress (a combination of Ms. Marvel from Marvel Comics and Huntress from DC Comics), who also knew of Dark Claws' secret identity.

[edit] Powers and Abilities

Sparrow has an extensive training in martial arts, forensic, criminology, acrobatics, stealth, disguise, and escapology.

Her naturally high intellect allows her to excel in computer science and more importantly as a skilled detective. Sparrow has a firm grasp of assorted scientific techniques including biology, engineering and genetics. She is also a brilliant and experienced strategist with impressive leadership skills.

Sparrow has the mutant power to generate bright bursts of energy plasmoids from her fingertips. The globules obey her mental control, traveling where she directs them, arranging themselves in balls, streamers, and other shapes, and exploding when she wishes. The strength of the energy can range from a multitude of colorful sparkles capable of temporarily blinding a person to a powerful detonation capable of smashing objects and destroying property, or a precision burst inside a human's brain simulating the effects of a massive stroke. Sparrow can absorb the fireworks back into her own body without harm.
