Sparagmite
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sparagmite (from the Latin sparagma, meaning "fragment") is an Arkose sandstone or comglomerate so named by Jens Esmark in 1829.[1] Deposited in the neoproterozoic to early Cambrian eras,[2] the sparagmite nappes were transported up to several hundred kilometers during the Caledonian collision.
