Spalvotas

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spalvotas (literary 'colourful') is a music album by the Lithuanian group B'Avarija. It was released in 2004.

The music on this album is best described as pop with a little bit of a Eurodance feel to most of the tracks. Each track is quite different in musical feel. This could also be described as "Feel good" music, house or even party music.

The track entitled "Daina Mylimajai" does not have any dance feel to it at all as it is a ballad sung using only a piano as backing. The piano on this track has a very strong classical feel to it and the karaoke version gives listeners a chance to hear the pianist's technique in full, if they do not wish to use it for karaoke purposes.

While this is quite a pleasant ballad, it is not clear why it is on the album as it does not really releate to any of the other songs in terms of genre or musical taste.

Negaila Ne Cento has a slight Latin American taste to it and Vien Tik Tau is a like a ballad but with a beat behind it as well as a classical piano interlude, but not as much piano as Daina Mylimajai as it only really appears at this one point in the song.

Ant Kalno Klevelis is like a male choir song with a strong beat like Uzh Save, Uzh Tave, only this song has some rapping between the choir-type parts. Tegul Dunda (Nah, Neh, Nah) sounds like a "Wild West" type of song.
