Spain is the most successful country in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Winner María Isabel from 2004 has released three albums and received the most points at the JESC ever. Sergio (2003) and Antonio José (2005) came second.
Spain made a surprise withdrawal from JESC 2007. Originally reported in national newspaper El Pais, it was confirmed on 22nd October 2007 that Spain had withdrawn.
