Spackenkill Union Free School District

The Spackenkill Union Free School District, usually referred to as the Spackenkill School District, consists of four schools in Spackenkill, New York, which is part of the town of Poughkeepsie. The district is named for New York State Route 113, known locally as Spackenkill Road. The road bisects the Hagantown portion of the district.

[edit] Elementary schools
Children who live East of US 9 attend Hagan Elementary School. Those who live West of Route 9 where it passes through the district and south of the local IBM plant attend Nassau Elementary School. Those who live west of Route 9 but north of the plant (which is located across route 9 from the end of NY 113) go to Hagan.

The students of the two elementary schools merge upon entering the 6th grade at Orville A. Todd Middle School.

Upon entering 9th grade, students attend Spackenkill High School.
