Space Lord

"Space Lord" is a 1998 single by the heavy metal band Monster Magnet, from the album Powertrip. It brought them mainstream success, mainly because of the Joseph Kahn-directed music video, which began like a generic metal video but turned into a straightlaced parody of rap videos, most notably Mase's "Feel So Good" which was receiving heavy airplay at the time.[citation needed] The song peaked at #3 on the U.S. Mainstream Rock Tracks, and #29 on the U.S. Modern Rock Tracks. A remixed version of the song was also made, and was featured (along with the original) on their greatest hits album, Greatest Hits.
