Space (documentary)

Space (Hyperspace in the United States) was a 2001 BBC documentary with various subtitles reflecting the specific topic. Narrated by Sam Neill, the six-part series was as follows:

  1. "Star Stuff" - on the origin of the universe, stars, and the solar system.
  2. "Staying Alive" - the luck of planet Earth and how it could be destroyed at any moment by black holes, comets, and asteroids.
  3. "Black Holes" - the destructive force that may eventually destroy the Milky Way galaxy.
  4. "Are We Alone?" - the possibilities of extraterrestrial life and human contact with it.
  5. "New Worlds" - terraforming and humanity's colonisation of other planets.
  6. "Boldly Go" - humanity's journey into far space.
