2000: - The first permanent crew (Expedition 1) of the ISS, consisting of three cosmonauts launch aboard the Soyuz TM-31 spacecraft.
2001: - Soyuz TM-32 returns three cosmonauts - the ISS Expedition 2 crew, to Earth.
