- Well, that is fine, but unless you provide a reason for you considering them unnecessary, then you must understand that I may disagree. I have explained to you why Category:Spanish Mexicans may not provide much information, since most Mexicans do have Spanish blood in them. Category:Basque Mexicans, etc. do provide more information, since the region of Spain is being mentioned. If you have noticed... there is no Category British Americans, but in turn there are Category:Welsh-Americans and Category:Scottish-Americans.
- About Category:Mexican American actors... Have you seen the number of articles in Category:Mexican Americans. Dividing these into profession is hardly an exaggeration.

- It is natural to assume that others will agree with our point of view. However, it is not enough of an argument to oppose changes.

- I am very well aware of that, I don't get "mad" if someone makes changes to "my" articles/categories (they are not really mine). What I do mind is edits with no edit summary.

Categories The reason why there's no Category:British Americans and there is Category:Welsh-Americans etc. is because Wales, Scotland, and England are actually "Nations" (or countires) within the United Kingdom or Britain. In Spain, These are NOT nations, they're communities or something like states, provinces, or divisions. >>> Sagitario 23:52, 22 November 2005 (UTC)
- According to wikipedia, the United Kingdom is a country. Catalonia is an autonomous region with its own language. Basques come from the Basque Country with its own language. Galicia has its own language as well. --Vizcarra 00:07, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

- Of course the United Kingdom is a country, but so are the ones within it (they are called Nations or constituent countries). So, just because this Spanish region is called "Basque Country", you think it's officially a country? I'm guessing you also think the Brazilian state of "Rio de Janeiro" is really a river because it's called "Rio", right? Well, as i said before, Galicia, Catalonia, etc. are kind of like states. Also, just because a certain region has it's own language, it doesn't make it a country. There's plenty of different indigenous languages in Mexico. Does that mean that the regions they are spoken in are also considered countries? I think not. >>> Sagitario 00:33, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

I don't really like this article because at least 70% of a mexicans have some spanish in them... this list should them include most mexican people... se mexico's demographics. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.237.70.41 (talk) 06:49, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
