[edit] New crew list
- I think that the new way to present the crew adds useless complication. Hektor 14:29, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Spacefacts.de Images
Just a quick question regarding images from spacefacts.de; surely whether or not they allow the use of their images is irrelevant for us, as the images we use are originally sourced from NASA, so Spacefacts.de has absolutely no rights at all regarding what we do with the images, eg mission patches, etc.? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Colds7ream (talk • contribs) 13:18, 30 March 2007 (UTC).
- NASA mission patches yes, but not Russian patches. You won't believe this, but Russian patches are not made by NASA !Hektor 19:14, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
So shouldn't Roskosmos have the copyright to the Russian patches, not Spacefacts.de? Colds7ream 20:39, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- I don't know what is the contractual relationship between Roskosmos and Spacefacts.de, but for wikipedia, that does not change anything : these images, not being NASA, cannot be used. Hektor 21:04, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- Wouldn't it constitute fair use? Obviously we can't say that it is a NASA image, but in the absence of an alternative patch, I would say that it would meet Fair use criteria if properly credited. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 21:13, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- There you're beyond my knowledge of the rules. Hektor 21:32, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- My basic argument is that it is a logo being used for identification purpouses, which is allowable under fair use rules - see WP:FU. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 21:46, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- Pretty much my point exactly - do we have any Russian speakers who could determine exactly what the situation is for us? Colds7ream 16:34, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ratio of Expedition 15 Crewmembers
The article currently describes TMA-10 as bringing, "two-thirds of ISS Expedition 15 to the space station." This doesn't seem correct. Won't there be a total of 5 people who at some point are members of Expedition 15? Sdsds 04:05, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Comment on Ballistic Trajectory
The link to ballistics doesn't describe a ballistic trajectory so if you don't know how this differs from what normally happens, you have no clue what this section is talking about. Ballistics is just the study of how something moves without engines and I didn't think the engines were on when a rocket landed? Could we either clarify this article or mention what a ballistic trajectory is in the Ballistics article. As written I don't understand it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.33.111.74 (talk) 13:39, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- That internal link is to an unrelated topic. 66.28.178.68 16:07, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
- I think it would be good to use the article called Atmospheric reentry to explain the difference between ballistic entry and lifting/guided entry. Hektor 16:30, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
