Talk:Soylent Communications

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The relevance of the IRC link is that I've seen a person called "Soylent" in that chatroom.

We need a universal, neutral directory then.

[edit] Sites

Listing the names of every site the company hosts is just a way of weaseling the former external links in. Have any of the sites beyond Rotten and NNDB gained any notoriety? Not saying they haven't, but an indiscriminate list of sites doesn't make it clear why they are being included. Also, I watered down the motives part because it's a link to Rotten's censorship policy rather than someone observing the motivation behind such policies. [edit] What is this article for?

I had to go to the Soylent site to even be sure what this company does. This Wiki article doesn't explain the company's goals, its history, its customer base, its importance. Then, going to their site, one discovers a single, half page of text. That's the whole site. This Wiki article is just free advertising for a web hosting company. A company, apparently, that is demonstrating its "opposition to internet censorship" by ignoring Wiki rules.
