Sovkomflot

Sovkomflot (Russian: ОАО «Совкомфлот», ОАО «Современный коммерческий флот», Modern Commercial Fleet) is the largest Russian sea shipping company, founded in 1995. It specializes in petroleum and LNG shipping. Since December 5, 2006, its headquarters have been in Saint Petersburg. It is headed by Director General Sergei Frank. Sovkomflot is an 100% state-owned ownership.

According to the Maritime Board (Morskaya Kollegiya) of the Russian Government, as of January 2005, Sovkomflot owned 45 vessels, with the total capacity of 3,263,000 tons.[1]
