Sovereign State of Magdalena

The Sovereign State of Magdalena was a State in the former Country of Granadine Confederation which included the provinces of El Banco, Padilla, Santa Marta, Tenerife and Valledupar. Today the area of the former state makes up most of modern-day areas of the Departments of Magdalena, Cesar and La Guajira, northern Colombia.
