Sovereign People

Sovereign People (Pueblo Soberano) is a political party in Curaçao, the Netherlands Antilles. Pueblo Soberano has a progressive slant and is headed by controversial leader Helmin Wiels. At the legislative elections in the Netherlands Antilles of 27 January 2006, the party won no seats. It won a single seat at the island council elections in Curaçao on 2007.
